A few days in Livingstone

We only had a few days in Livingstone, but even having visited the Victoria Falls before, they didn’t disappoint. The sheer beauty of the falls never get old.

We stayed at the charming Bird Song Bungalow, which is perfect if you prefer the comfort of a house to a hotel. The house itself is beautifully finished, and the garden and swimming pool were a huge hit with the kids. It’s just the right base for exploring the town - comfortable, welcoming, and easy to get around from.

Livingstone itself is easy to navigate - it’s not big, and you can grab the basics without any hassle. For mornings, Kubu Café became our little go-to spot for breakfast and a strong coffee before heading out for the day.

Livingstone is very much geared up for tourists, so most information online is reliable and up to date. Need to know anything — a quick Google search usually gives you exactly what you’re looking for. It makes planning ahead (or even last-minute changes) really straightforward.

To book the house contact Sarah: +260 977434143. Sarah was amazing, she answered all our questions, helped us organise a river cruise, and gave us great tips on everything Livingstone

The images used are from Bird Song Bungalow, but they reflect just how lovely the house is. What you see is what you get.
